This page describes what this site actually stores, why, and what it deliberately does not. It is updated whenever the platform changes.

Reading the site

The public pages set no cookies and load no analytics or advertising scripts. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs to operate the service. During the private preview period, entering the preview passphrase sets one cookie proving that; it identifies nobody and expires in thirty days.

The inquiry form

An inquiry stores what you typed: your name, email address, and whichever of the optional questions you chose to answer. It goes to the course director and nobody else — there is no mailing list, and an inquiry does not subscribe you to anything. To limit abuse of a public form, a keyed cryptographic hash of the requesting network address is kept alongside the inquiry; the address itself is never stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.

Answers to the optional questions may be used, in aggregate and without names, as needs-assessment documentation if these programs ever apply for CME accreditation.

If you enroll

Sign-in is by emailed link. There are no passwords, so none are stored. Your account holds your name, your email address, which programs you are enrolled in, your module progress, and any certificates you have earned.

The interactive modules keep working state in your browser for your own convenience; completion is also recorded to your account so that clearing your browser does not erase your progress.

A certificate is verifiable at a public address that shows your name, the program, and the completion date — that is its purpose, and it is stated on the certificate itself. Nothing else about your account is public.

What is never collected

No patient data, ever. The platform stores none, asks for none, and has no field that accepts any. The programs are education for clinicians, not a clinical tool.

Where it lives

Data is processed by Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting), under their own security terms. Nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone else.

Your say over it

To ask what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, use the inquiry form or reply to any email from us. Deletion requests are honored; issued certificates are withdrawn from their public address on request.
